RESPONSIBILITIES

Ms. Shannon assists in the preparation and execution of boundary and subdivision surveys.  Her responsibilities include: research and analysis, fieldwork preparation and final plat design, preparing the job for field work, research and analysis, calculations, writing legal descriptions, profile views, preparing plats for boundary, and subdivision.

EXPERIENCE

Since coming to NTI in 2002, Ms. Shannon has worked on a variety of survey projects ranging from boundary surveys for residential properties to large subdivisions and commercial properties. While a Surveying-Geomatics Technology student, Ms. Shannon reviewed newly recorded surveys for accuracy and completion as an intern for the Clallam County Assessor’s office.  She also acquired experience in land records research and interpreting legal descriptions while working for a local title and escrow firm.

SPECIFIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Performed Geodetic Control Network (GPS) for the Clallam County Road Department.
  • Preliminary Binding Site Plans for various new commercial construction projects.
  • ALTA/ACSM’s, Short Plats and Records of Survey for Clallam and Jefferson Counties.
